Rhino Massing

This is the massing i have been working on since my last post but i will be changing the massing of the building .The reason i want to change the massing is because i want my building to not feel caped in a mass i would like the massing to flow along the space , this would make more people want to visit my site. 

Rhino Model

This is the starting stages of my design , the spaces that are not name are still the same as the model also the size of things is not set in stone . As you can see my model is showing movement with the curved ramps , in a way it reminds me of my previous post about the Ferrari enzo f140 motor how everything is interlocking with one another. While talking to the professor today she brought up a good point about what your building entrance will be know for ( ex- liberty have big stairs ) so we started talk and i decided to make a tunnel style entrance where the user can walk throw or go in to the car museum. The picture at the bottom is the closest thing i can find to something that i want to do. The tunnel will be a part of the building massing. The next step is creating a massing that flow along the curved ramps showing movement and a turning motion.

Inspiration For Model

While thinking about how to make my model i found some pictures on line that give me some inspiration on how to start , the first picture is the inside of a Ferrari Enzo F140 motor. The reason i pick this pictures is because i like the way everything is interlocking with one another in order for it to make the motor work, just like a building should. The motor also show movement which is something that i want to be represented in my model like my other post. The other picture are of a Termini Station in Baths of Diocletian, Rome, Italy, it is a parking lot that is mainly design for scooters. Hybrid Model on Site

When i was working on my hybrid model i decided to make some changes in order for my model to fit on my site. While making these changes i still had the idea of movement in mind. I didn't want to make movement as obvious as i did before, so i started to think of different form of movement and i stated to study a watch. The way a watch work is almost like a car, there are a lot of moving part but if one fail or is removed the system will most likely fail.

From my last post i took 3 of my model to create my hybrid model , the model i used were the rocks model  ,Clutch Disc model and tools model . I wanted to create a movement in the center with the Clutch Disc , with the tool i wanted to keep going with the idea of someone taking apart something and i used the rock as the center to tie everything together
